A study of 109 consecutive patients with newly diagnosed narcolepsy reports that patients were delayed in their diagnosis by a median of 8 years. Men were diagnosed earlier than women, and more women remained undiagnosed at any given time point after symptom onset. Results are published in the January issue of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine.
