State Sleep Societies
Please complete the Speaker Request Form if your state sleep society would like to request a speaker to discuss current and future AASM initiatives at your society’s annual meeting. Completed forms should be submitted at least two months prior to the event date.
Event Publicity Request
Please complete the Event Publicity Request Form if your state sleep society would like to request that an email be sent to AASM members in your region promoting your society’s annual meeting.
Please note the following:
- In order to limit the number of emails AASM members receive, publicity emails will not be sent out for events taking place in the same timeframe as the AASM Sleep Medicine Trends course (January/February) or the APSS Annual Meeting (May/June).
- To limit the amount of emails being sent to AASM members, we will send no more than 2 announcements per state sleep society event (one initial announcement and one follow-up).
- AASM staff will determine the exact date that your publicity email will be scheduled for distribution.
Request AASM provide CME for Your Activity
We’re here to help. As an ACCME approved provider, AASM may jointly provide CME activities with associations, specialty societies and other groups, provided the requirements for joint providership are rigorously observed. If your group is interested in joint providership for your CME activity, please see the CME activity Planning and Documentation Worksheet and Joint Providership Agreement for more information.
Please note the following:
In order to meet ACCME criteria, AASM must be included in the planning process, beginning 3-6 months prior to the activity.
