On Tuesday, March 26, an article in the print and online editions of the Wall Street Journal highlighted the importance of overnight sleep testing for children with suspected sleep apnea. The article noted that behavioral difficulties and ADHD-like symptoms are common in children with sleep problems. AASM board of directors member Merrill Wise, MD, was among the sleep experts who provided comments for the article. AASM member Judy Owens, MD, also spoke with the reporter on WSJ’s live Lunch Break broadcast.
