AASM leaders advocating for sleep medicine on Capitol Hill

Today several members of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine board of directors are on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., conducting 23 targeted meetings with federal lawmakers from both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. AASM leaders are discussing the importance of healthy sleep with these legislators and emphasizing the need to support sleep physicians and their patients at the political level.
