Study finds decreased cerebral perfusion in adults with sleep apnea
According to a study in the May issue of the journal SLEEP, there is decreased regional cerebral perfusion during wakefulness in participants with moderate-severe obstructive sleep apnea.
CDC analysis indicates 70 million U.S. adults sleep 6 hours or less
Data analysis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that the percentage of adults sleeping 6 hours or less increased by 31 percent from 1985 to 2012. Results are published in the May issue of the journal SLEEP.
