Today the American Academy of Sleep Medicine website was relaunched after more than a year of planning and infrastructure development. Much more than just a redesign, the complete overhaul of the website will improve and enhance members’ engagement with the AASM.

“Our team rebuilt this website from the ground up, looking for every opportunity to add new features and enhancements that will make it an even more valuable resource for our members,” said AASM Executive Director Steve Van Hout. “We invested a significant amount of time and resources in this project, believing that our members deserve the best online experience that can be delivered.”

Among the site’s new features is a robust advocacy center that will enable members to “Take Action” on issues of importance to the sleep field. With pre-loaded template letters and integrated contact information for all state and federal legislators, the system makes it easier than ever for you to submit feedback to your elected officials.

The new Career Center helps connect job seekers with employers. Post your resume, create job alerts, browse the job postings, and take advantage of a wealth of resources including interview and resume tips.

The enhanced member portal will give you unprecedented convenience in managing all of your AASM account information, including subscriptions and email preferences. Another feature is the new “My Learning” center, which will organize all of your digital and on-demand resources in one convenient location.

The website also continues to be the hub for valuable resources such as clinical practice guidelines, coding and reimbursement tools, and the AASM Scoring Manual. All of this is housed in a responsive, mobile friendly website that will ensure optimal accessibility on your tablet and smartphone.

We encourage you to browse the new site to see all that it has to offer, and we invite you to share your comments and questions about the site with us by sending an email to feedback@aasm.org.
