Local Coverage Determination Policies Released by Four DMACs

The local coverage determination (LCDs) policies for home sleep testing for all four DMACs were released late last week. The following DMACs released a LCD: NHIC, CIGNA, Noridian and National Government Services. Please click on the following links to review the policy.

• National Government Services

This policy affects the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

• CIGNA

This policy affects the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Virgin Islands and West Virginia.

• NHIC

This policy affects the following states: Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

• Noridian

This policy affects the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
