On May 20, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Value Pathways (MVPs) registration window is open for the 2026 performance year. All entities that wish to report an MVP can register through 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 30, 2026.
MVPs are a reporting option that enables clinicians to satisfy MIPS requirements through a smaller, specialty- or condition-specific set of measures and activities.
To register, log in to the Quality Payment Program site, click “Register” or “Edit an MVP” on the landing page, then select your MVP reporting option.
