The APSS is introducing new opportunities for SLEEP 2012 attendees to stay connected through social media and to discuss sleep and share their experiences in Boston. Attendees will have a number of chances to win Visa gift cards and other AASM prizes just by using Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare.
Twitter: Follow the hashtag #SLEEP2012 to see what other attendees are talking about. When you tweet, include #SLEEP2012 in your message to join the discussion. For the latest developments from SLEEP 2012, follow the AASM at @aasmorg. The AASM will also announce over Twitter several chances to win prizes at the convention center.
Facebook: “Like” the AASM on Facebook at Facebook.com/sleepmedicine for the latest photos, videos and more from SLEEP 2012. Attendees who share their photos on Facebook will have a chance to win one of several Visa gift cards. Enter by uploading your photos on Facebook and tagging the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in your photo.
Foursquare: Check in on Foursquare to all four SLEEP 2012 locations with your smartphone or tablet for a free prize package. Just pull up the Foursquare app and check in when you’re at the Registration Desk, Exhibit Hall, Poster Presentations and Society Booth. Once you’re finished, show your check-ins at the Society Booth for the free prize package.
Attendees with a smartphone, tablet or laptop can access Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare using the free Wi-Fi access available at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center.
