Two additional dates opened for AASM Board Review Practice Exam courses

In preparation for the Nov. 10, 2011, American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) sleep medicine certification exam, the AASM has developed a new full-day Board Review Practice Exam course to be held at the AASM national office in Darien, Illinois (a Chicago suburb). The Oct. 29, 2011, and Oct. 30, 2011, courses are now SOLD OUT. In response to this high demand, the AASM has opened two additional course dates on Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, and Monday, Oct. 31, 2011.

More than 100 practice questions will be presented during the course using an audience response system to poll attendees. Following the presentation of each question, expert faculty, led by course chair Teofilo Lee-Chiong, MD, will provide an explanation of the correct answer and discuss test-taking strategies. Each course is limited to 80 participants, so it is recommended that individuals interested in attending register early to ensure their spot.

For more information about this course, or to register for one of the remaining course dates, visit the Sleep Education Series portion of the AASM website. Questions may be directed to the AASM meeting department by sending an email to education@aasm.org or by calling 630-737-9768.
