In a recent Part B News blog post, AASM member Dr. Seema Khosla described her success implementing and billing for telemedicine. She explained that many commercial payers cover telemedicine services, and she noted that many sleep physicians already service areas designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA), which opens up the possibility of receiving Medicare reimbursement for telemedicine services.
