The largest national salary and compensation survey of sleep medicine physicians and advanced providers is now underway, and the AASM needs a robust response from members. To encourage maximum participation, the AASM has extended the submission deadline to Friday, April 13, 2018.
Complete the 2018 AASM compensation survey and receive a $25 AASM credit after the survey closes. The credit can be used for purchases in the AASM online store, registration for an AASM event, or AASM membership dues. Participants who complete the survey also will be entered for a chance to win one of the following prizes:
- Paid registration and travel expenses (hotel and airfare) for the new 2018 AASM Practice Management course on Oct. 26-27, 2018 in Chicago, IL (valued at over $1,400)
- Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II (valued at $350)
- Apple iPad – 128 GB (valued at $430)
The AASM has hired ECG Management Consultants, an independent and neutral third party that will conduct the survey. The online survey will collect and report market compensation and production benchmarks for sleep medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, with detailed information on practice characteristics, provider demographics, clinical activities, income levels, and clinical productivity. All data will remain confidential, only aggregate benchmarks will be reported, and only ECG will have access to the raw data.
To initiate the survey, members will be required to enter a unique Source ID, which was included in an email invitation on Friday, Feb. 2. It is recommended that you set aside 15 to 20 minutes to complete the survey.
