Open Access for JCSM and SLEEP

As the sharing of knowledge, data and theories is the foundation for scientific research, clinical practice and patient care, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS) have both implemented open access policies for their respective journals.

The AASM announced a new open access policy for Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine effective immediately. Open access allows any visitor to www.aasm.org/jcsm to access and download an article six months after its publication date.

The APSS announced that studies published in SLEEP will also be available online at www.journalsleep.org for free access and download six months after the issue date. The APSS policy is also effective immediately.
