A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention presents an age-adjusted estimate that nearly 38 percent of U.S. adults were obese in 2013 – 2014, an increase from 35 percent in 2011-2012. No change was seen in the obesity prevalence among youth, which remains at 17 percent.
