The American Sleep Medicine Foundation website, www.discoversleep.org, has received a major overhaul. With a clean, attractive new look the redesigned website allows for easier navigation and access to grant announcements and other important documents. In addition, the ASMF has published an enhanced version of the 2011 ASMF Annual Report, which is optimized for your browser, tablet or mobile device, available on the new website.

Onsite registration begins Friday at SLEEP 2012

Individuals attending SLEEP 2012, the 26th Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies LLC (APSS), can begin picking up their registration materials starting Friday, June 8 at 4:30 p.m. Registration counters will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday for pre-registered attendees only. Individuals who would like to add a course and session registration or tickets to the Networking Reception can do so beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9.

Registration open for ABSM Sleep Technologist Registry Exam

The American Board of Sleep Medicine has announced that the Sleep Technologist Registry Examination will be offered for nearly a month at the many Kryterion Testing Centers located in the United States. RST Certification candidates will be able to take the exam at their convenience August 11-September 7. Candidates have until July 2 to submit a completed Sleep Technologist Registry Examination application to sit for the exam. SLEEP 2012 provides a unique opportunity for section members to gather and network with their colleagues in person.
