The AASM is now accepting applications for the 2022 class of AASM Fellows. In recognition of the important role that members of the sleep team play in advancing sleep care, the AASM has expanded eligibility for the prestigious Fellow standing to include members in both the Full and Team categories.
Fellow standing recognizes outstanding contributions in sleep medicine and dedicated membership in the AASM. Applicants must be a Full or Team member and must have maintained an active AASM membership for at least the last five consecutive years.
Full members must hold an MD, DO, PhD, DDS, DNP, or other health care doctoral degree and be active in sleep disorders medicine. Team members are nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, sleep technologists, respiratory therapists, office/center managers, medical assistants, or other professionals in the sleep field.
New Fellow members will receive:
- Use of “FAASM” designation (with active membership)
- Fellow member lapel pin and certificate
- Recognition in Montage and on the AASM website
- Recognition at the SLEEP annual meeting
Applications for the 2022 class of AASM Fellows must be submitted by Dec. 1, 2021. Learn more about how to become an AASM Fellow.
