Nathaniel F. Watson, MD, MSc, is a past president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and is board-certified in sleep medicine and neurology.

He is a professor of neurology at the University of Washington in Seattle, co-director of the University of Washington Medicine Sleep Center and director of the Harborview Medical Center Sleep Clinic.

Dr. Watson completed his fellowship and residency in neurology – and earned a master’s degree in genetic epidemiology – at the University of Washington. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, N.C.
