President’s Report

Fariha Abbasi-Feinberg, MD, is the 2026 — 2027 president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Her term as AASM president began June 15, 2026. Dr. Abbasi-Feinberg is a board-certified sleep medicine physician and neurologist, and she serves as medical director of sleep medicine at Millennium Physician Group in Fort Myers, Florida. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed her neurology residency and post-doctoral fellowship in EEG at the University of Maryland Medical System.
