Member Notes: AASM congratulates members on recent career achievements

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine congratulates the following members for their recent achievements:

• Terri E. Weaver, PhD, RN, FAAN, dean of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing, was newly elected to serve a two-year term on the board of directors of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). (2/15/17)
• Michael Grandner, PhD, participated on a panel of sleep experts to help Fitbit introduce a new Sleep Stages feature, to estimate sleep stages in adults based on heart rate variability, and Sleep Insights, to provide personalized guidance on how to improve your sleep. (3/6/17)
