Researchers and health care providers are invited to submit innovative ideas and practical solutions that can inform the Precision Medicine Initiative, according to a recent White House blog post by DJ Patil, Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Data Policy and Chief Data Scientist in the Office of Science and Technology Policy. The mission of the initiative is to enable a new era of medicine through research, technology, and policies that empower patients, researchers, and providers to work together toward development of individualized treatments. Comments can be submitted to the White House by 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 21, 2015.
