The American Academy of Sleep Medicine congratulates the two teams that won first and second place in the Sleep Medicine Disruptors: Change Agents competition. The winners were announced during the Virtual SLEEP 2021 plenary session on Thursday, June 10. Now voting is open through Sunday, June 20, for the third place, People’s Choice Award. Winning Teams

Out of 13 final submissions, two winning teams were selected by a panel of judges for having the best proposal to reinvent the management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA):

First place: $15,000

People’s Choice Award

The judges have nominated five proposals as candidates for the third place, People’s Choice Award. The team that receives the most votes will receive $2,500.
