Volunteer for one of the AASM’s six standing committees

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine is looking for volunteers to serve on a standing committee. Volunteer committee members provide an invaluable service to the AASM and membership by contributing to initiatives and projects that are critical to the continued development of the field. By volunteering, members will gain professional enrichment through the diverse activities of a committee.

The AASM’s six standing committees engage in diverse activities such as developing education materials, identifying research needs for the sleep medicine field, and responding to issues related to reimbursement and coding.  The Committee on Committees will determine the appointments in March, and terms will begin in June at SLEEP 2012.

Members interested in serving must submit a two-page CV summary along with the Committee Volunteer Interest Form, the Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form, and the Copyright Assignment Form. All forms are due by February 20, 2012.
