Study links sleep apnea to increased risk of hearing impairment

A study in the May issue of the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine shows a strong and independent association between obstructive sleep apnea and hearing impairment. After adjustment for potential confounders, those with sleep apnea had a 30 percent higher odds of any hearing impairment.
