Register today for SLEEP 2014, on May 31 – June 4 in Minneapolis. This year’s Plenary Session will feature keynote speakers Giulio Tononi, MD, PhD and Andrew Renda, MD, MPH.
Dr. Tononi’s address I01: Sleep and the Price of Plasticity is a scientifically oriented lecture on why the brain needs to disconnect from the environment for hours every day. He will present the rationale and evidence for the synaptic homeostasis hypothesis, which proposes that sleep is the price the brain pays for its plasticity.
Dr. Renda’s presentation I02: Managed Care Perspective on Long-term treatment, Outcomes, and Economics of Sleep Disorders addresses the outlook and models for the treatment of sleep disorders. Dr. Renda is the Program Manager for the Chronic Care Strategies Team at Humana, and is responsible for strategies and solutions.
SLEEP 2014 attendees will have access to many additional sessions based on the latest clinical and scientific developments in sleep. During pre-registration, you can also secure a spot in the dozens of SLEEP 2014 ticketed sessions.
