The American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) has extended the application deadline for the Sleep Technologist Registry Examination to July 16, 2012. The exam will be offered during a testing window of Aug. 11 – Sept. 7. In order to better accommodate the needs of candidates, the ABSM will offer the exam at Kryterion Testing Centers, which have numerous locations in nearly every state. A searchable directory of testing centers is available on the Kryterion website.
Individuals who intend to take the exam must submit a completed Sleep Technologist Registry Examination application to the ABSM before the July 16 deadline. The fee for the examination is $250. Requests for information about the examination, the application process and the activities of the ABSM should be directed to the national office at absm@absm.org or 630-737-9701.
