In his address to both chambers of Congress Tuesday night, President Barack Obama revisited healthcare reform, which was a cornerstone issue of his campaign. Obama detailed key points of his administration’s agenda, including substantial investment in electronic health records, new technology, research and preventative care, and renewed the call for reform of the current healthcare system.
In the Republican response, Governor Bobby Jindal (R-La.) also stressed the need for "address of the crisis in health care," and pressed his party’s stand for "universal access to affordable health care coverage."
