The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has announced the renewal of a program supporting interdisciplinary graduate training and continuing education in the core occupational safety and health areas as well as other closely related occupational safety and health (OSH) fields. This initiative may be of potential interest to academic researchers with sleep/circadian expertise working at institutions where the occupational training faculty will plan to apply. Several lines of evidence point to the potential significance of sleep disorders in occupational health and safety planning. The application due dates are Sept. 10 2010; Aug. 15, 2011; Aug. 14, 2012; Aug. 14, 2013; and Aug. 14, 2014. Read the complete funding opportunity announcement (PAR-10-217) on the NIH website.
