NHLBI invites public feedback on refined draft of strategic research priorities

As part of its Strategic Visioning process, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) has developed a refined set of high-priority Compelling Questions and Critical Challenges based on more than 1,000 ideas and 42,000 votes submitted during the previous comment period. NHLBI requests that stakeholders submit additional feedback before the NHLBI advisory groups convene again to further refine the Compelling Questions and Critical Challenges in September.

NHLBI plans to release a final list of Strategic Research Priorities for public comment in the fall. The final Strategic Vision will be released in early 2016.
