The next public meeting of the Sleep Disorders Research Advisory Board (SDRAB) will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, from 1-5 p.m. EDT and Friday, Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT. The meeting agenda includes:

  • Potential research agenda with regard to the significance of biologically appropriate “lighting” in the man-made environment
  • Updates on sleep biomarker research and coordination
  • Introduction of “fatigue” perception as a potential future area of research emphasis at NIH
  • Advance discussions for the proposed revision of the NIH Sleep Disorders Research Plan
