The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently launched openFDA, a new initiative designed to make it easier to access large, public health datasets collected by the agency. The research platform is currently in public beta with one featured dataset comprising more than three million adverse drug event reports from 2004 to 2013. A number of updates and additional datasets will be released in the upcoming months. Learn more at www.open.fda.gov.
