The percentage of large employers that plan to offer telemedicine to employees in states where it is legal increased from 48 percent to 74 percent this year, according to a recent survey conducted by the National Business Group on Health. The survey of 140 of the nation’s largest corporations found that the increased adoption of telemedicine is just one of the steps being taken by large employers to control rising health care benefits costs, states an NBGH press release.
