The AASM has developed a MIPS Submission Toolkit to help sleep medicine clinicians navigate the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Payment Program (QPP) and Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The resource provides practical guidance to help clinicians understand reporting requirements and prepare for successful participation in the program.
The toolkit brings together information on MIPS eligibility, performance categories, and reporting requirements. It also includes step-by-step guidance for creating and managing a HCQIS Access Roles and Profile (HARP) account, using CMS quality reporting tools, and submitting data through the QPP website.
In addition, the resource highlights quality measures and improvement activities relevant to sleep medicine and provides an overview of MIPS Value Pathways (MVPs). Frequently asked questions and supporting reference materials are included to help clinicians better understand the reporting process and identify measures and activities that align with their practice.
By bringing these resources together in one place, the toolkit helps clinicians navigate the MIPS reporting process, streamline submission efforts, and make informed decisions about quality reporting.
Additional information about MIPS reporting is available on the AASM MIPS resource page.
