Dr. Roth was the second president of the AASM, a two-time president of the SRS, the first chair of the APSS Program Committee, and the second editor of SLEEP. As a leader, researcher, clinician, mentor and friend, he has had a lasting impact on both of our professional societies and on the careers of many in the sleep field. His recent retirement gives us the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation for him at SLEEP 2014.

The annual welcome reception provides a relaxed venue for attendees to reconnect with friends and network with colleagues. All proceeds from the event support the grant programs of the American Sleep Medicine Foundation and the Sleep Research Society Foundation.
