Health care has been a cornerstone issue for both candidates throughout the 2008 presidential campaign, and it is noted as one of the top concerns among voters.

The government affairs department of American Academy of Sleep Medicine has studied the proposals for health care published by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Barak Obama (D-Ill.), and summarized each plan according to 16 categories.
