Commentary addresses complex challenges related to sleepiness and driving

A new study published in the May issue of the journal SLEEP confirms that effective treatment of sleep apnea brings down driving risk similar to those without apnea, according to a commentary in the issue. The author notes, however, that the paper also raises a host of challenges related to the pervasive nature of drowsy driving on our roadways.
