Registration is now open for a provider call to be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011, from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. EDT to discuss the conversion to ICD-10 within CMS. CMS recommends this 90-minute session for physicians and other healthcare providers, physician office staff and coding/billing staff. The call, which will include a question and answer session, will feature presentations on a wide range of ICD-10 related topics including:
- ICD-10 overview
- Lab NCDs conversion process from ICD-9-CM to ICD-10-CM
- Home health conversion
- OASIS and procedure code reporting
- Update on claims spanning the implementation date
- National ICD-10 implementation issues
