Physicians planning to sit for the Nov. 10, 2011, sleep medicine certification exam have less than six months remaining to prepare. During this time, take advantage of the many resources offered by the AASM for board review:
Board Review for the Sleep Specialist Courses: Attend this course, which covers more than 25 hours of material from the exam blueprint. Registration is open for the Aug. 12-14 course in Denver, Colo., and the Sept. 9-11 course in Reston, Va., or members can purchase a copy of the March 2011 course on CD-ROM through the IntelliQuest website.
Board Review Webinar Archives: Several of the AASM’s board review webinar archives have been remastered for viewing in the Online Learning Center. More than 15 presentations can now be streamed online for review and are available for as little as $25 each.
Practice Exams: Evaluate your preparation through use of the AASM online practice exams, which are available in the areas of general board review and scoring. Or attend one of the AASM’s new live practice exam courses Oct. 29 or Oct. 30 to review exam questions in an interactive setting.
