ASA 21st Annual Meeting is Oct. 8 to 10 in Melbourne, Australia

The 21st Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australasian Sleep Association and the Australasian Sleep Technologists Association will be held Oct. 8 to 10, 2009, at the Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.

The theme for this year’s meeting is “Visions of the Night: Sleep Science & Research on the World Stage.” The meeting will offer four plenary sessions covering Physiology of the Upper Airway, Cardiovascular Health & Sleep Disorders, Sleep in Transportation, and Melatonin: Mechanisms of Action and Therapeutic Applications for Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorders.

There also will be breakfast sessions, symposia sessions, poster sessions, oral presentations and an industry exhibition. The meeting concludes with a conference dinner on Saturday evening.
