Applications are now being accepted for the Fall 2012 testing window of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Certification Examination, which is administered by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM). Applications must be submitted by September 28, 2012. The BSM examination is open to applicants who possess a valid license and doctoral degree in psychology, nursing or social work, and meet the outlined training/experience requirements. Individuals with MDs are not eligible to sit for the BSM exam. The examination will be administered by Kryterion from Oct. 1 – Nov. 16, 2012. The examination fee is $300. After review and approval of applications, eligible candidates will receive instructions on how to register with Kryterion and schedule a testing date.
