On May 8, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the 2022 Quality Payment Program (QPP) Experience Report. The purpose of this document is to provide data specific to sleep medicine providers as it relates to Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) measures. Per the 2022 QPP experience report, 624,209 clinicians received a MIPS payment adjustment.

Of the 624,209 clinicians who received a MIPS payment adjustment, 499 were sleep medicine providers, and 88% (439) of the sleep medicine providers received a positive payment adjustment.
