Shalini Paruthi, MD, is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and is board-certified in sleep medicine and internal medicine. She is the co-director of the Sleep Medicine and Research Center at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. Paruthi also is an adjunct associate professor of internal medicine and pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is on the editorial advisory board for Sleep Review.
Dr. Paruthi has expertise in adult and child sleep disorders including – obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome and narcolepsy. She completed her fellowship in sleep medicine and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr. Paruthi earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine.
