The AASM is now accepting applications for compensated Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) Reviewers. The EBM Reviewers will work with Science and Research staff to grade and extract evidence from published studies. Persons with at least 2-3 years of experience and with an advance degree (MD, DO, PhD or PsyD) are encouraged to apply.
The EBM Reviewers will be required to grade and extract evidence from a minimum of 50 articles within a one month timeframe. EBM Reviewers will be classified as independent contractors of the AASM. All work will be conducted off-site (e.g., home or personal office). Extraction sheets will be completed and returned electronically; applicants must have high speed internet access in order to accept up to 50 articles via electronic transmission.
