After 35 years, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) continues to be the leader in setting standards and promoting excellence in sleep medicine health care, education and research. In his letter to membership in the 2010 Membership Report, President Dr. Patrick J. Strollo reports that 2010 was a remarkably strong year for the AASM. Milestones in 2010 include the opening of the state-of-the-art AASM National Headquarters in Darien, IL, new highs points in membership and accreditation, new electronic initiatives and the continual development of educational resources for members.
