UnitedHealthcare is updating its pharmacy benefits coverage and excluding Silenor as a pharmacy benefit designation. In a letter to the AASM, the provider announced a Pharmacy Drug List (PDL) Management Committee determined the drug would remain excluded under the provider’s pharmacy benefit. The changes to the pharmacy benefits coverage go into effect on January 1, 2012.
