The New AASM
Welcome to the new AASM Membership experience. We are thrilled to share our hard work with you. We know there will be changes that you need to adjust to and are happy to answer any questions you may have. If you are looking for brief overviews of sections of the website, please click below to have an interactive walkthrough of a variety of sections. We have also included a variety of Frequently Asked Questions at the bottom of the page, if you don’t find your answer, feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
Looking for information on how to use the Membership Portal? Utilize this interactive tutorial that takes you through each spot in the new AASM Membership portal. You will be taken to another page but can exit the tutorial at any time.
Take a brief tour of our new website with this interactive guide. While you will be taken away from our site, after you complete the tour, you will automatically be redirected to our webpage so you can navigate. You can also stop the tour at any time and be taken back to aasm.org.
Purchase a Product
Need help finding products in the store, or learning how to make a purchase of the new products? Use this interactive guide to help show you the process of choosing a product and completing a purchase. You will be taken to a separate page to view the tutorial, but redirected back to the store upon completion. You can stop the tutorial at any time.
My Learning and Transcripts
Looking for your credits? Want to find all of your products after purchase? This guide walks you through the steps of how to find your credit claim letters and all of your digital products and purchases. This tutorial will take you to a separate webpage, but redirect you to the AASM store as soon as you complete or end the tutorial.
Navigating through Accredited Facility Account Information
All AASM accredited facilities are managed by one person, but can be accessed by other staff members. This tutorial will help you learn how to navigate your individual account and access accredited facility information.
You no longer have a username, instead you now login with your email address. If you are still having trouble, give us a call (630) 737-9700 and we can help you.
Of course! We sent you an email when we first updated the website, search your email for the subject: “Welcome to the new AASM.” That email contains your temporary password if you haven’t ever logged in. Upon logging in, you will be asked to reset your password.
When you go into your membership profile, there is a “Change Password” button that you can utilize anytime you’d like.
If you cannot remember your password, click Forgot Password to be sent an email that enables you to reset your password.
Yes, if you have a different email address you’d like as your primary account email address, contact us at (630) 737-9700.
Unfortunately, the member number is not currently listed in the member profile. If you need your number, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Simply log in to your account and click the link in the left menu or find it in the Membership drop down menu of the main navigation.
Learning Center and Store
We no longer use digital access codes to give purchases to your account. However, if you purchased or received an access code before our website upgrade (September 19th) you can log into your account and click “Redeem Digital Access Code” listed on the left-hand navigation. After entering this code, you can access your content through the “My Learning” tab in your account.
Unfortunately, we no longer have the ability for people to take notes or highlight content within an e-book.
Thank you for being an accredited member facility. If you’ve already purchased your facility scoring access, you can give access to your staff through subscriptions in your membership portal account.
If you have not purchased your facility scoring access, fill out this form and we will process your request.
If you are logged into your account, click “My Learning” then go to “Transcripts” you can find of your credit history.

Log into your account, click “My Learning” and you will be taken to a list of your purchases. You can then access the content from there.
All of that information is now under “Organization” located in your membership portal account.
In order to access your accreditation application, follow these steps:
- Login to your AASM account
- In your membership profile, click “Organizations”
- You will find your applications in that location
- You can also start a new accreditation application
- If you see your application, but cannot edit, contact us so we can provide you with the correct level of access to the application.
