On Oct. 22–24, 2010, the AASM will host an Interpreting Sleep Studies course at the new AASM national office building in Darien, IL. This course, chaired by Robert Basner, MD, will cover a variety of topics related to the interpretation of sleep studies including polysomnography, portable monitoring and actigraphy. During the course, faculty will discuss multiple types of sleep studies including respiratory sleep studies, non-respiratory sleep studies, studies of sleepiness and pediatric sleep studies. Additionally, an optional half-day workshop will be presented on the morning of Friday, Oct. 24, 2010, that will give an in-depth review of scoring. View Course Brochure.
