Read new Scoring Manual FAQs

Subscribers to the online AASM Manual for the Scoring of Sleep and Associated Events now have access to a new FAQs document. On the AASM website go to “My Account” and then select “Subscriptions.” After you select the Scoring Manual subscription, you will be able to access a PDF document with the FAQs.

Examples of questions that are answered in the document include:

• Are there maximum impedances for leg EMG and ECG?
• Do biocalibrations need to be performed at the end of a study?
• Should an arousal be scored at the beginning of an awakening?
• Can respiratory events immediately following an arousal be scored?
