On Jan 3 the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) posted a new compliance training video addressing the Physician Self-Referral Law, also known as the “Stark Law.” A transcript of the presentation is also available.
The Stark Law video presentation is the fifth in a series of 11 videos the OIG announced in early December. Additional videos address the False Claims Act and the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute. The presentations are a part of the Health Care Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) Provider Compliance Training initiative.
