The online application for AASM Accreditation has received a complete overhaul to deliver a smooth and approachable experience for sleep centers, practices and DME companies seeking accreditation. This online system allows users to apply for all types of accreditation, including sleep facilities, durable medical equipment suppliers and home sleep apnea testing (formerly known as out of center sleep testing). Step-by-step instructions within the application and an optional live online chat with Accreditation Staff are new user-friendly features to help applicants complete the process in a timely manner.
Centers that have a partially completed application will have until February 10, 2015 to submit using the previous system. For more information about the changes to AASM accreditation, view the documentation on the AASM website.
New Corporate Accreditation offers discounts to programs with multiple facilities
The AASM will offer discounts and an accelerated application process for companies that participate in the new Corporate Accreditation program. Entities that have multiple sleep facilities that are managed by the same company are eligible.
