New ABMS Prep Webinar for Non-Pulmonologists is Wed., May 6

The AASM has launched a new board preparation webinar series that focuses on specific topical areas for non-specialists. The next webinar in the Non-Specialist Update Series, Pulmonary Medicine for Non-Pulmonologists, led by Eric Olson, MD, is Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at 12:00 p.m. CT.

Pulmonary Medicine for Non-Pulmonologists is intended for neurologists, psychiatrists, otolaryngologists and pediatricians preparing for the ABSM examination in sleep medicine. It will provide a review of basic lung function, pulmonary function tests, control of breathing, and the pathophysiology of sleep apnea.
